L'uso dei cani per aiutare le persone con disabilità è noto da molto tempo. I cani guida svolgono una serie di compiti pratici per i disabili con una formazione adeguata e mirata, tra cui l'assistenza alle persone sorde o alle persone con perdita uditiva profonda.
